We’re very excited to announce, ‘Scottish History: British or European?’, a panel discussion Q&A to be held at the University of Edinburgh on Monday 22nd August, 1-2pm.

Rounding off the School of History, Classics, and Archeology’s Festival Lecture series, the event features a fantastic panel of experts to discuss Scotland’s historical relationship with Europe, including Dr Tanja Bueltmann (Northumbria), Prof Richard Finlay (Strathclyde), Prof Alan MacInnes (Strathclyde), Dr Esther Mijers (Edinburgh), and chaired by Prof Ewen Cameron (Edinburgh).

Scottish History at the Edinburgh Festivals

The Edinburgh Festivals are almost upon us, with many Scottish history-related events on offer as part of the Edinburgh Book Festival’s ‘The Scotland that Shaped Us’ series, between 13th and 29th August.
