Weekly Digest 16 December 2016

Welcome to the final Scottish History Network Digest for 2016! We’ve had a very exciting year launching the network and have really enjoyed engaging with so many people with so much passion for Scottish history. We’re currently in the process of expanding our core committee, and we’re looking forward to introducing a few new faces in the new year! Applications close today, so if you’ve been procrastinating getting in touch, drop an email to scottishhistorynetwork@gmail.com

As befits the season, there are only a handful of news items for today’s digest. We’d like to draw your attention to a couple of CfPs: the Scottish Historical Review Works in Progress and Rewriting British Political History at the Institute of Historical Research. Registration is also live for the very exciting looking conference next month at St Andrews on The Future of Early Modern Scottish History.

If we’ve missed anything coming up soon, let us know and we’ll happily spread the word on Twitter, otherwise regular service will resume in January.

Wishing everyone the very best for the new year,

– The Scottish History Network Team
